Fight Night: 360 Goes Hollywood! IB EP 18

360 Promotions Sets the Roof on Fire!

I’m going Hollywood!

Hollywood Fight-Night to be correct. At a great venue, promoter Tom Loeffler rolled out the red carpet for the media and fans, and his new show aptly dubbed Hollywood Fight Night was a resounding success amongst the fans in attendance.

“Blue Chip” Ryan Martin 21-0(12KO’s) dropped Luis Flores 23-9(19KO’s) twice en route to stopping him at 30 seconds in the fourth round.

Highly touted prospect Brian Ceballo 1-0(1KO) of New York made his professional debut in fashion winning by first round stoppage making Luis Longoria 0-2 quit after being rocked and having his nose broken early in the first.

Anthony Chavez 5-0(1KO) of Maywood Boxing Club dominated the cards against Carlos Apodaca 1-8 winning 40-35 on two and 39-36 on one.

Serhi Borachuk 7-0(7KO’s) stopped Compton’s Lucius Johnson 4-3-1(3KO’s) after the two traded a pair of knockdowns in an exciting club battle to get the crowd rowdy.

Jose Casillas 1-0(1KO) stopped May Gorduna 0-2 at 1:53 of his pro debut.

Luis Rosales 3-0 pitched a shut-out over Guadalupe Arroyo 3-9, winning on scores of 60-54 on all three cards.

Mike Melikyan 2-2-1 and Alfredo Hernandez 3-2(2KO’s) opened the night with a back and forth slugfest to wet the crowds appetite. Melikyan picked up the split decision victory on scores of 40-36, 39-37, and one judge had it 39-37 for Hernandez.

Probably my new favorite place to watch a fight, see what all the hub-bub is about at the Avalon theater in Hollywood.

  1. Love this addition to the Los Angeles fight scene, and fun to see all the usual suspects there, haha. Tip for those to avoid parking: park a few miles offsite somewhere and take Uber the rest of the way. MUCH cheaper than $30 parking. Or take the metro and walk the last few blocks. See you all in May for SURE!

  2. I was impressed, we missed you there Gayle the Avalon is a good venue. It’s the kind of place the fans can get dressed up for and have a good time at a fight. Loeffler did good on the event, folks and fans I spoke to all said they had a good time.
