The titanic tiny-man Angel Acosta 20-1 20KOs is a bad man, all 108 pounds of him. For a little guy Acosta can punch and has 19 knockouts in 19 fights. Over eight rounds Acosta battered contender Ganigan Lopez 35-9 19KOs of Mexico City.

Lopez didn’t offer much resistance to the offensive onslaught of Acosta as he finally succumbed to a combination of punches at 1:55 of the eight round.
Danielito Zorrilla 11-0 9KOs wasted no time ending rugged veteran Gamaliel Diaz’s 40-20-3 19KOs night. Diaz, whose best known for giving Robert Guerrero his first loss was no match for the hard punching Puerto Rican. Zorrilla landed a hard left right combination to drop Diaz at the end of the 1st round. The bell for the second round would signal that the end of the fight was near as Zorrilla landed a left hook to drop and stop Diaz.

Mexico City native Rocky Hernandez 28-0-3 24KOs bludgeoned Ibrahim Class22-6 19KOs over two one sided rounds dropping him twice in the second round. Hernandez landed a left uppercut for the first knockdown, then followed up with a night left right combo to put Class away for good.

Rodrigo Guerrero 26-8-2 got the call to keep contender Joet Gonzalez 22-0 12 KOs busy as he grinds his way to a title shot. Gonzalez landed at will on the native Mexican eventually stopping him at 2:27 in the fifth round. Gonzalez sees himself in the mix with the top of the 126 pound division and should get an opportunity soon.
Antonio Orozco 2-1 17KOs returned to the ring in his first fight since losing to WBC Junior Welterweight champ Jose Ramirez in September. Orozco ground out a workmanlike decision over Mexico’s Jose Rodriguez 25-13-1 13KOs to earn scorecards of 99-91, 97-93 on the other two.
