Brooklyn, December 4th, 2019- Showtime airs the return of
WBC Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo. Returning from a dominant performance
over Brandon Adams Charlo in June.
Looking to entice a name brand opponent outside of the company stable,
Charlo faces contender Dennis Hogan of Ireland,
In the US Hogan’s profile rose after losing a disputed decision to former
WBO Junior Middleweight Champion Jaime Munguia. Parlaying the momentum from the
loss Hogan finds himself in familiar territory as the underdog brought in
against the house fighter.
“I showed in the fight against Jaime Munguia that I’m willing to do
whatever it takes inside that ring. I’m so persistent and I want to achieve my
goals more than anything. Losing the fight just made me want to go even harder
” Hogan said at an open media workout.
A fight against Charlo will look very different than facing the
aggressive Mexican. Charlo is a different animal with an entirely different
skillset and one-punch knockout power.
“We’re prepared for absolutely everything. It’s really all come
together perfectly. I believe that in life, if you work hard and want
something, it will come. This time we really put the intent into making sure we
take full advantage of any opportunity that presents itself in this fight.”
Hogan get his shot at Charlo’s title this Saturday December 7th
on Showtime.
